John Deere School to Work Programs

John Deere selects students to train in various industrial and engineering technology programs at Hawkeye and offers them preferential hiring status after the completion of their program.

John Deere offers the following programs:

  • Gain preferential hiring for full-time employment as positions are available at John Deere after completing the John Deere School to Work program.

Forgivable Loan Program

If selected as a John Deere School to Work program student you may apply for the John Deere Forgivable Loan Program through the Hawkeye Foundation. The loan is used to cover up to two-thirds of your tuition and fees for your program. After you complete your program and have been employed at John Deere for three years, your loan will be forgiven.
