ACT Assessment

Hawkeye Community College serves as a National Testing Center for the high school ACT test.

Testing takes place on designated Saturday mornings from 8:00am-1:00pm.

Students requesting stand by testing should arrive by 7:30am.

ACT Scores and Course Recommendations

You must receive a sub-score of 19 or greater in reading, math, and English on the ACT to meet admission requirements at Hawkeye. If any sub-score is below 19, you must take the COMPASS assessment in that area.
