Al Clausen of Hawkeye Business and Community Education was awarded the prestigious President’s Award for Outstanding Leadership. Over the years, Clausen has helped grow the number of businesses that Hawkeye Business and Community Education works with. He has helped provide valuable training to Cedar Valley's workforce. He is described as having an engaging personality and strong knowledge of state economic and training programs. One nominator states, "He listens to businesses to discover the real needs and how Hawkeye can meet and exceed all those needs. He ensures businesses understand the option available to them through state of Iowa grants and other funding sources." |
