Guest Speaker Amanda Schneider Presents “Career Fair Basics:  What You MUST Know Before You Go”

WATERLOO—Hawkeye Community College is offering a free Opportunities Workshop for adult students to assist with information and the opportunities of going to college. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 23, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Hawkeye Center. The college is located at 1501 East Orange Road.

The guest speaker is Amanda Schneider, who will present “Career Fair Basics: What You MUST Know Before You Go”. Schneider will share insights gained from meeting job-seekers at dozens of college fairs. She’ll cover pointers from how you should dress to what you should bring.  She is the Human Resources/Recruiter at HyPro.

This workshop is designed for both those who have a program in mind, as well as those who want to explore their options. Hawkeye offers more than 50 career and transfer programs, including certificate and diploma programs that can be earned in as little as one semester.
