Last week was the first week of classes for the Spring 2013 semester. To welcome new and returning students to campus, Student Life hosted several Welcome Back Week activities. On the first morning of classes, a free french toast breakfast was offered in the Student Center. On Tuesday, students could make and take S'Mores in a Jar in the Student Center in the afternoon and in Black Hawk Hall in the evening to bring home and bake into s'mores bars. Several organizations participated in the Clubs and Organizations Fair on Wednesday to inform students of the clubs and organizations available on campus and to encourage everyone to get involved. Eight students participated in Minute to Win It challenges on Thursday over the noon hour. Austin Charly was named the winner and won a gift card to Target. On Friday, several students participated in Grocery Bingo to win free groceries to bring home with them. Everyone enjoyed the activities and had a great first week back.
