Funding Assistance

Training and education are necessary to remain competitive. A variety of resources are available to help you or your business meet your training or education needs. We do not endorse or promote any one service over another.

Company Funding

Hawkeye provides eligible businesses with financial assistance for training through:

Individual Funding

Hawkeye does not offer financial aid or payment plans for non-credit courses or programs. However, third party sponsorship, private student loans, and employers can be a resource.

Sponsoring Agencies

Tuition assistance may be available for non-credit programs for individuals that meet specific guidelines. Sponsorships are subject to the rules and regulations of each agency. Please contact the agency for details.

Private Loans

A number of institutions may offer financing for non-credit programs. Each lender offers different programs with varying terms. Most lenders have informative websites and we encourage you to visit each lender's site to compare your options.

Read through our recommended questions to ask before considering a private loan.

Contact lenders directly to verify that they disburse to two-year institutions for continuing education courses and to apply for a private loan.

The Iowa Department of Education may be helpful information if you are considering a private loan.

Employers

Some companies offer employee reimbursement options. Hawkeye accepts full or partial payment of program tuition from employers. An agreement may be worked out between the student, employer, and Hawkeye Business and Community Education for a non-credit program.
