Workshop 1: Industrial Hydraulics
This workshop is highly recommended for people involved with hydraulic components and systems in stationary, in-plant applications. Skilled and novice professionals in maintenance, supervision, design, and operation of hydraulics will benefit from this workshop. The concepts presented are fundamentally important in dealing with hydraulic systems. Theory as well as the applications of industrial components and machinery is covered. Safety concerns and judicious use of energy are addressed. Hands-on training reinforces classroom instruction with opportunities to inspect circuits and component cutaways, and to disassemble, inspect, and reassemble various components. This class is a necessary basis for advanced Troubleshooting and Electrohydraulics workshops, as well as an excellent preparation for the Fluid Power Society Certification Examinations for Hydraulic Specialist, Hydraulic Technician, or Hydraulic Mechanic.
