Blue Zones Project™ Kickoff Event

Join us as we kickoff the Blue Zones Project™ in Waterloo. We will celebrate our community, our well-being, and our future as we work together to become a Blue Zones Community™.

5:30pm Entertainment and Giveaways
Chance to win giveaway’s such as an iPad mini, bike, and gift certificates along with many of free items for everyone.
6:30pm Program
Feature speakers include Dan Buettner, best-selling author of Blue Zones and Thrive, and Dan Burden, a national expert on liveable and sustainable communities.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Bring your friends, family, neighbors and anyone who's looking forward to working together to put well-being in action. This will be the launching pad towards living longer, better in Waterloo!

Hawkeye Community College is a designated Blue Zone® Worksite in the community.
