The courses page is intended to help you market your courses. The purpose of a course page is to give a prospective student or your colleagues in the field a general overview or your course. Some content ideas include:

• course description
• course objectives
• what you’ll learn
• course materials such as text books, tools, calculator, etc.
• basic description of assignments and tests (how many exams, quizzes, how weighted your grade is on specific assignments and tests)
• class policies

What a course page is not intended for:

• personal information
• class materials, PowerPoint presentations, notes, videos, syllabi, etc.
• program or department information
• links to personal websites
