News Release Policies
The Public Relations and Marketing office distributes news releases each week regarding special events, promotions, and other newsworthy items.
Submit Newsworthy Items for a News Release
Please email the information to the Public Relations and Marketing office. Be sure to include your name or a contact person so if additional information is needed, we will know whom to contact.
Please submit the information three to four weeks in advance of the event to allow us to prepare and send the news release. We need to send news releases to the media two weeks prior to an event to be effective.
- Be sure to include key information: Who, What, When, Where, and Why this is unique.
