Kibbie Grant (Iowa Skilled Workforce Shortage Tuition Grant)

The Kibbie Grant (Iowa Skilled Workforce Shortage Tuition Grant) assists Iowa residents enrolled in specified vocational-technical or career option programs at Iowa community colleges.

The maximum Kibbie Grant award is $2,040 for eligible Iowa students who enroll on a full-time basis during the 2012-13 academic year. Part-time students may be eligible for prorated amounts.

EFC (Expected Family Contribution) range is $0-$6,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Iowa resident
• enrolled in at least three credit hours in a qualified program of study (of at least 15-weeks duration)
• enrolled at an Iowa community college
