Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards (SAP)

Academic Plan Status

If you were placed on Financial Aid Suspension, your appeal is approved, and it is determined that you are not able to meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards for Financial Aid in the subsequent term, you will be placed on Academic Plan Status.

You will then need to to print the Academic Plan Compliance form [pdf], meet with your academic advisor, and return the form to the Financial Aid office to determine if you are meeting the terms of your academic plan. If you are not meeting the plan, you will be placed on Financial Aid Suspension and will need to complete another Financial Aid Suspension Appeal if you wish to receive financial aid.

Each semester, the Financial Aid office will send you an email to your Hawkeye email notifying you that the Academic Plan Compliance form is available and the deadline to turn the form in.
