Work-Study Eligibility

1. Meet general financial aid eligibility requirements. To be given priority for work-study awarding, you must:

   •  file a FAFSA before June 1 for the following academic year

   • maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as set by the Financial Aid office

   • meet general financial aid eligibility requirements

2. Enrolled at least half-time. If you drop below half time enrollment at any time during the Fall or Spring semesters and continue to work, you will not be paid for those hours by the Financial Aid office. No exceptions.

3. Registered for classes. To work between semesters, you must be registered at least half time for classes for the next semester.

Departments should advocate that your primary responsibility is to be academically successful. Attending classes should be your number one priority.

You are not permitted to work during the scheduled time of a class in which you are enrolled.
