Work-Study Orientation
All new work-study employees must complete an orientation session before they start working. In certain departments, supervisors may also require you to attend other types of training related to the job. As long as the training has been approved by the supervisor and the Financial Aid office, the training time can be counted as paid time on your Web Time Entry. This does not include travel time and transportation expenses. Before you complete the Work-Study Orientation be sure you have: -
completed your FAFSA, -
completed the work-study application [pdf] and turned it into the Financial Aid office, -
have received a Work-Study Award, and - interviewed and have been hired for a work-study position.

Read the Work-Study Handbook. -
Read the Work-Study Soft Skills Training [pdf]. -
Complete the Work-Study Orientation Review Quiz [pdf] and bring to the Financial Aid office. - Complete OSHA training
- take the OSHA training modules listed below
- complete the quizzes at the end
- print your quiz results
- send your printed quiz results to the Financial Aid office
