BodyViz
BodyViz is a 3D MRI visualization software that allows students to explore the human body through the use of a Xbox 360 controller. This software is used in health sciences classes at Hawkeye including Anatomy and Physiology I and II. Hawkeye Community College was the first community college to utilize BodyViz software in the classroom. Using BodyViz visualization software students can: -
rotate, pan, zoom, or fly-through a patient’s anatomy. -
view pathology planes and navigate the internal anatomy. -
label anatomical structures. -
view tissue types such as bone, muscle, skin, and fat. Surgeons use this technology to plan delicate and complicated procedures. |
