College Financing Plan

Breaking Down Costs and Aid

The College Financing Plan is a standard form that makes it easier for you to understand costs and financial aid. It helps you make smart choices about which college to attend.

The College Financing Plan shows important information, including:

  • Grant and scholarship amounts
  • Net costs (what you will actually pay)
  • Graduation rates
  • Loan default rates
  • Median borrowing amounts
  • Estimated monthly loan payments after graduation

If you need more help estimating financial aid before you enroll, a Financial Aid Advisor is available. Please contact the Financial Aid office to set up an appointment for a personalized estimate.

Once your College Financing Plan is ready, you can access it through your Financial Aid Self-Service.

To have your College Financing Plan prepared, make sure you've applied at Hawkeye and completed all financial aid requirements.

When reviewing your College Financing Plan, keep in mind:

  • The information in your College Financing Plan is only up-to-date as of the time you view or print it.
  • The Hawkeye Community College Cost of Attendance listed on this sheet is for full-time students who are residents living on their own. It includes estimated costs for housing, meals, books and supplies, transportation, and other education expenses.
