Guiding Your Students Toward Future Success
At Hawkeye, we're here to support you and your students. Whether it's exploring dual credit opportunities, understanding admissions and financial aid, or learning about academic programs and support services at Hawkeye, we're excited to partner with you.
Connect with High School Partnerships
The High School Partnerships team is here to help you serve our shared students!
Make us your first contact for questions about concurrent enrollment. We can provide:
- Group registration sessions
- Individual registration assistance
- Important dates and deadlines
- Assistance with policies and procedures
- Course planning advising and resources
- Referrals to academic resources and services
We can also connect you and your students to our Admissions Office for admissions-related opportunities, including visit days, application assistance, financial aid and scholarship information.
ACCUPLACER Project
ACCUPLACER projects are group events where high school students can take the ACCUPLACER test, tour the campus, and attend a presentation about Hawkeye.
The ACCUPLACER results can be used in different ways, like:
- Seeing how well students are doing academically
- Predicting if they’re ready for college
- Helping decide if they’re ready for Dual Enrollment, Concurrent Enrollment courses, or joining a Career Academy while still in high school.
Registration
To schedule an ACCUPLACER project, please contact the Admissions office.
On the Day of Your Visit
ACCUPLACER projects can start at 8:45 AM, but we can adjust to fit the high school's schedule.
Students should bring:
- A photo ID
- Clothes and shoes for the weather and the campus tour
High school staff should:
- Provide one chaperone for every 20 students
- Arrange transportation
- Arrive on time on Main Campus at the Hawkeye Center for the visit.
