Estimate Your Out-of-Pocket Expenses
The Net Price Calculator is a tool made for students like you who are thinking about attending Hawkeye. It helps you figure out how much you might have to pay to go to Hawkeye after considering financial aid like grants and scholarships.
How It Works:
- You enter your info: You’ll answer questions about your family’s income and other financial details.
- It gives you an estimate: The calculator will show you an estimate of your costs, including tuition, housing, and fees based on full-time, full-year enrollment. Then, it will subtract any grants and scholarships you might qualify for to give you your “net cost”—what you would likely pay out-of-pocket.
Keep in Mind:
- No special circumstances: If you have special financial situations, they aren’t included in this estimate. Hawkeye will review those once you officially apply for financial aid.
- Based on older data: The calculator uses information from the 2021–2022 school year, so the actual costs will be different.
- Apply for aid: To know exactly how much you’ll pay, you need to apply for financial aid.
