Personal, Intellectual, Professional & Social Growth

The Student Nursing Association was established in 1972 to provide the student nurse with the opportunity for personal, intellectual, professional, and social growth.

The Hawkeye Community College Student Nursing Association:

  • Participates in service learning projects throughout the community including blood drives, health and wellness days on campus, and supporting families at Christmas and other special holidays.
  • Provides educational offerings of interest to students and up-to-date information on world health events.
  • Attend informational sessions and conferences to enhance the knowledge base of our students to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Membership

Any student in the Associate Degree Nursing program is welcome to join. Membership is free.
