Admissions assessments help figure out where you’re at academically, so you can be placed in courses that match your skill level. It’s all about setting you up for success and making sure you have the support you need as you start your program!

At Hawkeye, we accept the following assessments for course placement:

• ACCUPLACER (Next Generation and Classic)
• ACT
• ALEKS Online Math Readiness Assessment
• COMPASS

If you need to take an admissions test, Hawkeye offers the ACCUPLACER and ACT. For math, you can also complete the ALEKS assessment online.
