MAT-772 Applied Math Test Out

Receive Full Credit By Demonstrating Proficiency

MAT-772 Applied Math is a required course for many programs at Hawkeye. If your program requires it, you can take a proficiency test to earn full credit for the class, so you won’t have to take it.

Make sure to talk with your academic advisor to see if this option works for you and your program.

The exam is available Monday through Thursday at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. You’ll need to pre-register before taking it. If you need accommodations for the exam, contact Student Accessibility Services before registering.

You can take the proficiency test once per semester or once every 90 days.

If you pass the exam, there’s a $150 transcript fee that will be charged to you.
