Foreign Diploma and Transcript Evaluation

Requirements for Submitting Transcripts from Outside the United States

Hawkeye Community College requires that all students who went to high school outside the United States get their high school transcripts and any certificates translated before sending them to the college. This can be done by a professional or with a notary. The International Student Admissions and Services office will review high school transcripts.

If a student attended a college or university outside the United States, they must have those official transcripts translated and evaluated by a professional service. Students are responsible for any fees charged by these services.

All official translations and evaluations must be sent directly to Hawkeye Community College by the translating or evaluating service. They can be mailed to the address below or sent electronically. Only original translations will be accepted—no photocopies. All documents must be in the original language and include an English translation.
